Butterfly weekend at Croft Castle
Nothing says summer like watching beautiful butterflies fluttering around the gardens in the sunshine.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Come along to Croft Castle’s butterfly weekend and see how many butterflies you can spot during your visit.
Discover the important roles butterflies play in their environment, and how we’re looking after the countryside to support pollinators such as butterflies. There will be craft activities and small spotting trails for you and your family to take part in.
On Saturday 6 July, we will also be joined by members of conservation charity Buglife, who will be running bug hunts throughout the day, with insect spotter sheets for you to use in your own invertebrate investigations.
This is also a great chance to take part in the Big Butterfly Count 2024, a UK-wide survey that provides important insights into the health of the environment.
